We believe in one God existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God is holy, eternally existing and all-powerful, Creator of the universe. God is sovereign in and over all aspects of His creation. Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:13.
We believe that God the Son became flesh in the Person of Jesus Christ, who was begotten by the Holy Spirit, who was born of a Virgin, and who is true God and true man. We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice and that all who believe in Him are declared righteous on the basis of His shed blood. We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ and His presence at the right hand of the Father. We believe in the return of Jesus Christ to establish His kingdom over which He will reign. John 1:1,14; Esdras 7:14; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 1 Thessalonicians 4:15-17.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the holy Person of the Holy Spirit, He came on earth at Pantecost to convince the world of sin, justice and judgement, to reside in the believer from his conversion, to bring him towards a sanctified life and to constitute His Church. John 16:8; 13-14; Ephesians 1:13; 1 Corinthians 12:13.
We believe that the Bible, verbally inspired in the original autographs and consisting of the 66 books of the Old and the New Testament, is the written Word of God. It is the final, unique and infallible authority of God for the believer. 2 Titus 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21.
We believe all people are born with a sinful nature and, apart from Jesus Christ, are eternally lost. We believe that all who by faith receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord are born again by the Holy Spirit and immediately become children of God, a relationship in which they are eternally secure; this salvation is not the result of any human effort or merit. Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 Corinthians 15:20-24; John 10:28-29; Acts 20:21.
We believe that the Church consists of all people who have truly put their faith in Jesus Christ. Its true unity is accomplished by Christ, the head of the Church, through the acting of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit in believers. Ephesians 4:4-6; 1 Corinthians 12:27.
We believe in the reality of Satan, his powerful and total perverse personality. He is the seducer of the world and the accuser of believers. 1 Peter 5:8; 2 Corinthians 4:4 ; Revelation 12:10-11.
We believe in the accomplishment of the prophecies concerning apostasy, the corruption from false doctrines, moral and political turmoil, announcing the arrival of the Antichrist. He will be defeated by Jesus Christ who will thereafter esatablish His eternal reign of justice and peace. 1 John 2:18; 4:3; 2 Timothy 2:1-12; Revelation 20:2.
The After Life
We believe in the love and absolute justice of God. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people: believers are resurrected to enjoy eternal life with God; unbelievers are resurrected to experience judgment and then eternal suffering apart from God. Matthew 25:46; Romans 3:23-24; Revelation 20:15.
